I had a very mixed experience. Dr. Hannon is very nice and professional, has very good bed side manner. His staff seems friendly enough. I had my wisdomes taken out two at a time. The very first time I went in to have them removed they told me while I was sitting in the chair about to start that it was going to $1100.00 to have them all removed at once. I absolutley could not afford that at that time and decided I had to wait. I waited another year and my dentist had urged me to get them removed so I requested a quote for getting two removed with sedation it was a little over $450.00. The first set (12-2014) went very smoothly little bit of pain. I did however get a mild infection and had to go back to get it cleaned out. After that it was smooth sailing. The second time was a whole different story. I went for my appoitment (4-2015) which I had taken time off of work for, waited for about an hour and half and then they told me that there was an issue with the chair and it would be about 15 minutes before it will be fixed. After about 20 more minutes they ask if they can reschedule me for later that week. I didnt have any additional time off work so I requested a Saturday, normally they only do al four extractions on Saturdays so they made an exception and let me come in two Saturdays later. That time was quicker had to wait about a half hour and the procedure was quick. The pain for this one was definently more and the swelling was worse. I followed the cleaning instructions very carefully and made sure I kept it clean. Unfortunatly this side also got infected and apparently was really bad. I had to go back and he cleaned it out again put me back on Antibiotics and I'm currently still dealing with it. I'm going in tomorrow to make sure that its healing good and there is no lingering infection. All and all Dr. Hannon, his staff and services are good. My experience of the treatment and after effects sucked. But Dr. Hannon took good care of me and made me feel like I was an important patient.
Dr. Hannon was very patientertaining with me. I was pulling all 4 wisdoms with just local anesthesia. My anxiety was out of control. His assistant was the sweetest, she stayes with me n talked me down from my anxiety. Both dr. Hannon & his assistant made sure I was comfortable before they began to do anything...checked on me between each tooth. Lemme tell you the pain is extreme after but it was fast. He also called the same night to check on me. He really is a great doc and has a wonderful team!!
Dr Hannon and his staff were so calming, my wife was so at ease for the rest of the procedure.
We had questions that first night and called the office phone to leave a message but instead we were connected to Dr Hannon, who was very understanding and took time to answer all of our questions.
Great surgeon.
