4. Car Parking: there is a car park.
5. Others: 10/10 simply amazing. Stunning area. So peaceful. Its a must see.
Love it here. Went often when I lived in Hawaii, still stop when I go back for vacation. Serene, well-kept grounds, and great location. Easy to get to and usually just enough parking. Small fee to get in but I figure that’s helping keep the place open. Best early in the morning before crowds - it’s definitely not the same when there are a bunch of loud folks around.
6. Complaints: i have no complaints.
Very beautiful Japanese temple with the beautiful mountains of Oahu in the background. Really nice scenery! The place can be visited relatively quickly and it is not crowded at all. I would definitively come back!
1. The Staff: the staff were nice.
3. Prices: i was here on a bus tour so i dont know the price to enter but i dont think it was expensive.
A place of peace and sanctuary. Our family enjoyed seeing the temple, it's grounds, and hearing about why this is such a magnificent place to visit. Our favorite stop and to see the Buddha atop of a lotus in person in the temple was very humbling.
Obvious tourist trap with a humming gift shop in the center of it. Not much here outside of the REPLICA temple. It's a bit of a shoddy replica if you ask me, you can see the 2x6's and nails they bought from Home Depot in the facade work. As weird as this sounds, the entire staff seemed to be comprised of retired military that had once upon a time been night club bouncers, or vice versa. One poor family was waiting at the purported ticket gate for 15 minutes waiting for someone to "make change for a hundred", before we sauntered up to it and grateful for the perfect opportunity purchased their tickets for them. If you can't make change for $100 for the tickets you are selling, should you really be selling tickets? Won't be on my recommendation or visit list for the future and will steer folks away provided the opportunity.
2. Cleanliness: This temple and the surrounding area was very clean. Not a spot of dirt anywhere.
