Sunshine Arts Gallery is one of the best galleries I've even seen in Hawaii. It has a large and very unique variety of art. I could spend hours in the gallery looking at all the beautiful local art. The staff is very friendly and I never feel pressured to buy. The framing part of the business is a wonderful experience, i.e., picking out just the right frame and mat. The quality of the work is very high and done in a very timely manner. I highly recommend locals and visitors to Hawaii check out this wonderful gallery. You won't be disappointed!!
Every time we go to Oahu, we always stop by Sunshine Arts... and always end up with something to take home. They have the most beautiful and unique artwork -- that really represents life in Hawaii and the Hawaiian spirit. We ended up purchasing 3 very beautiful pieces, this time, and are so happy. Prices are MUCH lower than what you would pay in Honolulu. The owner, Jim, is great... and Laetitia, the Gallery Manager, is a real treasure. She really takes her time helping you pick just the right paintings and is extremely knowledgeable about every detail of the business. We LOVE working with her! The artwork was shipped to us in New York and arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Gallery as one of your stops, next time you visit Oahu! Aloha.

Today I took a special piece from Sudan that Sunshine Arts had framed for me many years ago. Recently the wire broke and I took it in to see if it could be repaired. Just walking through the gallery of local artists is a special treat. The framer looked at it, took it out of the frame, and fixed it on the spot. I didn't buy anything today, but I will be back for wedding gifts, and art for my family, friends, and myself. The owner and framer are knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. The setting is country, which seems fitting to appreciate local art away from the bustle of town.
