Dean's is the shyt. Wonderful family owned business. Spend your money there.
I've been eating at Dean's since they were at their old location on Kamehameha Hwy. The food is awesome, the service is even better than the food, and they have vegetarian selections for people who might not want meat but won't judge you if you do. (In other words, it's not vegan.) The prices are pretty comparable to other drive-ins in Kaneohe.
Saw this place pop up on TV on Guy's Triple D on the Food Network. So we made a point to check them out. The teri beef was the best we ever had.I don't know what Dean does to make the meat that tender and flavorful. It really is gourmet quality food in a takeout setting. We will be back over and over again.
Great local foods, Dinners Drive Inns and Dives approved. Burgers, Vegetarian Selections and Lamb as well as a variety of specials. Soft serve and delicious Gelato. Great place to eat and sit and talk story. The owner Dean came around to greet and make sure that everyone was good. This is a jewel.
Dean's is unique from most plate lunches because they offer not just the basics, but also unique, creative fish dishes as well. Dean's has drawn praise from many locally so I wanted to check it out for myself and found that it lived up to the hype. My wife ordered the fish cakes (delicious) and I ordered the soy onion ahi. Both were cooked very well and were very tasty. I have heard their teriyaki beef is delicious as well but the portions they provide are very filling. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area and want a different experience of plate lunch.
