Had a bad customer service experience returning my truck rental here. Truck was returned on time and fully refueled. Gas station pump did not provide me a receipt, and the manager insisted I go back to the station to get a receipt before processing my return. I explained I was going to be late for a family dinner and I convinced her to accept the credit card card receipt from my phone app. She complained that it didn't show the amount of fuel, only the total cost of the fuel. Finally, after manually calculating the amount of fuel herself, she was convinced that I had fully fueled the truck and wasn't trying to cheat them out of some fuel. I'm not sure why she was giving me the runaround. I was being reasonable, and after a long day of moving a full household, I really didn't need this hassle. I'll drive to the other side of the island to rent before I rent from this location again.
Be careful when dealing with them. I hadn't checked the odometer for mileage when the contract was written up. The U-Haul dealer claimed I had driven 120 in the 24 hours I had the truck, which was impossible since I only drove it once to Honolulu from Kailua and then locally. When I filled it up with gas the bill came to $35, which even if I had gone 120 miles (which I didn't), the number of gallons was impossible. Obviously the person who had previously hired the truck hadn't completely filled it up. The service person admitted the gas hadn't been filled completely but refused to reimburse me for the extra gas. A $50 10ft truck ended up costing $155 for a one day rental. Try to avoid this U-Haul location or if you can't, be very careful.
Brahhh the worst aloha place ever, very bad on customer service!! Very unfriendly staff when it comes to asking them questions they get inpatient easily and they're rude...I recommend don't do rental service here!
Great customer service!! They have two big dolleys and two small ones. Good priced boxes, pads, and other moving supplies (way cheaper than other stores). They have multiple moving trucks and only calling a few days ahead, had one available for us! Cheaper than storage unit moving trucks and Penske. And all you have to do is leave the truck in the front when you are done. No hassle! Will definitely use again if we need to move!
5 stars for service. 3 stars for rental truck. Rental truck key was very difficult to get seated properly for ignition. Check engine light was on and could tell it was not running properly. When notified, they told me they knew about the problem but had not been fixed yet.
