I always thought I had one of the greatest vets here on Oahu, Dan Severson. I know he's great with orthopedic surgeries, etc. and his staff of which I used to really like, as I deleted my review not looking at it for 2 yrs. At the time, I didn't even know how to edit my errors....Today, December 21st of 2016, I learned that Holly Poomaihealani or Holly Moana cut off my messaging or posts by blocking my contact. She was willing to get together to try and help me clear some of the FALSE information she had with her complaint after 2 Fridays ago, I had seen she had initiated TRO on my good name. So I had written posts about her absolute false allegations she filed. I was angry. Wouldn't anyone be? I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO INTERACTIONS WITH HER DURING ALL THOSE YEARS I had been taking my golden retrievers there. Our GOV. system is so flawed, anyone with $15 can walk in to the 3rd floor, Honolulu District Court, to file a TRO on anyone, so how is it that this female goes to Alakea St District court where TRO'S are filed and supposed to be served, but is denied, but sticks to the intended recipient's records, so that person would seem to be some sort of trouble, in the making? Isn't that like defamation of character? Anyone I TELL this to would agree that YES, I would, to just about all who hears or looks into my public records worst yet, agree with me that I do carry that stigma of being, in simplified terms, a trouble maker." No wonder when unwarranted attitudes by authorities occurred, I was on the other end. Ubsurd. I and Brandy 2 , a few months ago started going to the Presbyterian Koolau's church to not be angry of the past, now this, only discovered 2 Fridays ago and I had lashed out at her on Facebook. I don't have the TIME for all this BS. So, I am making it public as this isn't YELP, but Google and Google cannot be coerced in any way to remove reviews that may in any way, downgrade businesses. I deleted my old review of the Kaneohe VCA Animal Hospital but since Holly blocked me after not looking there, Facebook or Messenger to see if any additional conversation, my last one didn't send and I am wasting TIME again because I thought she as said wanted to meet with me the following day but I had an appt at the Queen's Medical POB 1. I have the conversation of which she said of being very busy because of the holiday seasons and I can completely understand that, Well people looking for a good veterinarian, all the terrible experiences isn't there anymore on YELP.
Great vets and staff! In and out appointments....can book on same day and or same week if needed.
There are only 2 good vets here. And 1 is leaving so there just doctor Dan. Staff is rude and not trained well. So my dog has seasonal allergies, and I worked out with my vet that I could just get refills as he needs it cause he's allergies come and go. So when i called for my refill they said My vet had left and since she approved it, i have to see another doctor and pay again to have him check. Total B.S then when I called to complain all of the sudden they were down to give me a free visit. Only after 4 days of stressing out going back and forth with 3 different people. My family has been coming here for over 20 years, but not anymore we will go elsewhere

Capable, clean, and large, but EXTRAORDINARILY expensive and very, very slow. 2 hours for a physical exam, xray, and heartworm test. $300 for xrays, an estimated $800-$1,100 for dental work and extractions. Expect to pay 3 to 5 times what you would at other vets on the island.

Absolute TRASH. Would not cooperate at all when asked to have paperwork for pet travel filled out to airlines standards. Everyone we talked to Got insane attitudes when we explained the situation and expressed how urgent it was. We couldn't even get our pets permanent doctor on the phone. Only receptionists. The whole experience there has been awful. From initially checking them in and getting shots, vaccines and medical certificates to picking it all up to fly the pups home. Every time we called we would be on hold for at least 10-20 minutes PER QUESTION. Just a simple rabies shot appointment took nearly 4 hours and you might as well take out a loan if you plan to do anything there.
