Repair technicians have been here 3 times for the same problem (leak in the refrigerator). I had to wait over a month for each appointment. And the problem still exists....now i have to wait another 5 weeks for my next appt. Maybe I should just demand a new refrigerator!!!! It would be quicker! Update---it has been 4 visits and the leak still exists. Now I can't get an appointment until for another 5 weeks!!!!
I normally would give a five-star rating, but this time the wait for a repair took so long! I called the toll-free number, but was told that nothing was available in my area. The representative was friendly and polite, but could not help other than to say she was filling out a form because she couldn't schedule an appointment and that it would take about 72 hours for someone to call me. Luckily, I was able to make an appointment locally, and even then, had to wait more than 2 weeks for someone to come out. Again, all employees were helpful and polite, but the wait was ridiculous!
I've had good experiences with Sear repair in the past, but the latest one on October 23rd was very disappointing. The technician told me our stove was fine and the problem was the outlet. The stove started working without the technician doing anything, yet he charged us $240 for the repair. I had two issues with this. First, contrary to the Sears service description, I was not given any estimate for the service before it was done. This is likely because the technician did not do any work and the stove just started working on its own. Second, at most, the technician diagnosed the problem as the outlet, which was only supposed to cost $99. I called Sears several times after the repair, and they said they would call me back to resolve the matter. Almost two weeks later, no call.
Technician knew what he was doing and got the job done! Very impressed with the quality of service this technician provided. This Technician deserves the highest rating possible!
The gentleman was able to repair the washer dryer combo quickly and he was very courteous. The washer is now working well Thank you for being so conscientious.
