Did not get to fully explore the park as I was there for a wedding. The location was beautiful the views were spectacular. I was staying in Honolulu and made the about 30 minute drive to this side of the island and it was beautiful.
Wonderful scenery and watersports rentals. The small coral patches near the put out are awesome for snorkeling. Profits go to a non-profit!
Nice hike to the pillbox on top. It was a little muddy and slicks to start but was to be expected with the amount of rain we've had over the past couple of weeks. Shaded hike amnd dog friendly. Views at the top were amazing.
Great service loads of fun. You can join a morning tour or go on a self guided expedition. Good equipment and location. We don't usually do this sort of thing but we are glad we did. We will definitely be coming back.
This is a secret gem where you can get educated and joy fantastic gift shop and see the Stray Cats that hang out in the parking lot there's a lot to learn about the fishing ponds of ancient Hawaiians it's a pretty cute little Park
