This is a really nice little "mom and pop" Mexican place. It's small - only 8 tables - but they do a pretty good job. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. Alcohol is BYOB but they have soft drinks available. Would recommend giving them a try!
I had the chille rojo special and it was very good being that I never had that before ever. Good service good, mexican food, great atmosphere.
Out first time here for dinner. Parking lot was tight at 6:30 pm. There was 1nice woman in the main restaurant who takes orders, brings the orders out, serves the fountain drinks and cashes out the bills. Through the kitchen opening you can see 2 men preparing the food and fulfilling the eat-in and take-out orders. The place is small, with 7 tables, several if which needed bus service, however it was pretty busy that our server could only clean as the next set of customer waited to sit. The salsa and chips: tasty salsa with just right heat! Chips were almost 5 stars, just a tad getting stale, but just a tiny bit. We got 2 combo plates, each came with refried beans topped with melted cheese and Mexican rice with seasonings.So yummy! The seasoning in my ground beef taco was spot on, I know I'm getting this again! Brought home leftovers and excited to have them today. We will surely be back to Don Goyo's. The taste is reminiscent of my husband's Los Angeles South Central hometown Mexican deli food, so comforting and delicious!
Fantastic food! My husband enjoys the fish taco’s and they have a great Chile verde and carnitas. Mini quesadillas are a great appetizer as well.
Food was decent. Flavorful, but I felt that the amount of food on the plate was scarce. I ordered a fish tacos plate which was advertised as a special for the day. My husband and I both agree that the food here taste better than another Mexican restaurant we tried a few days prior to visiting Don Goyo's.
