Great food, fast service!
We both happened to notice the girl at the front reception area playing with her hair looking at her split ends for a few minutes and not realizing we were watching her do this. What a turn off!
Entering the restaurant, a young girl stood at the front and showed us to a table. As we sat, we looked around at our surroundings.
Its always good food and the service is always great! 4 stars because I'm not sure if management changed but the bathroom used to be something to walk into. It was immaculate and well maintained with listerine and stylish Japanese rocks. Now its run down with broken doors, dirty sinks, and dirty walls. Their dishwasher also needs some quality control because every time I go there's at least one set table dish still dirty. The servers also should check to make sure the burners have gas before each table because our server brought our nabe turned on the burner and as soon as he left both burners were out of gas. Also, suggestive selling or upselling should be encouraged as all they said was, "its happy hour" but did not explain what's on the happy hour menu nor suggest whats good or of good value during happy hour. Should use more descriptive words.
My husband and I decided to leave after noticing the burnt marks on the table and grease marks on the butane grill. We decided to leave this establishment because we weren't sure of this place and didn't want to get sick from here.
Food and service was good but prefer ala Carter shabu shabu to sets.
Passed by and decided to give it a try. There was a bowl of water to put the spoon that used to cook the food. However, the spoon was dirty and the water was so dirty also. I asked the server if those are new and he said YES, IT JUST HAVE STAIN ON IT. I don't understand how can a clean spoon have stain and dirty water called NEW. I think whatever good or not, this will be my first and last time come here. I don't want a dirty spoon and dirty water to be served to me again and called NEW. Rice was undercooked. Still kind of hard
We were very disappointed at this restaurant last evening June 24, 2017. Our first time to this place in Kaneohe. My husband and I were surprised by the uncleanliness of the floors, dusty and rundown looking of this so called four-star restaurant. We were looking forward to a great dinner there.
They need to see what we see as new patrons to this restaurant. Unbelievable!!
My husband decided to go to the restroom. He said to me about what he saw and smelled.
